Eggleton
In
1973, Richard Eggleton, the founder of Borderline,
invented the first of a long line of specialized
machines, by bringing together a few bits and
pieces of equipment he had lying around his workshop.
Richard had an idea. An idea that would revolutionize
garden landscaping forever. That idea was free-form
concrete garden edging. It took the world by storm.
Now others may claim they were the first, but
it was our very own Richard Eggleton who not only
conceived it, but developed it into what we see
today. After the initial research and development,
manufacturing was commenced in 1979, and the first
machines marketed in 1980.
Thanks to Richard’s vision, landscapers
and architect designers were no longer restricted
on what they could contain, create, and contour.
Richard's vision continues today, as he drives
continual research and development for Borderline,
throughout the world.
